Fertilizer and Weed Control

Always trying to catch up with the "Joneses" for lawn care envy.  Warners will help you become the "Joneses" of the neighborhood.  We use granular fertilizer which is strengthens, greens up and promotes horizontal growth in your lawn to give it the lush green look you want and deserve.  The benefit of using granular versus liquid fertilizer is that you are able to put down double the nutrients, which results in better lawn.  After we apply the fertilizer we always blow the pellets off the road, driveway, sidewalk and patio to ensure the fertilizer stays in the lawn.  Our liquid weed killer controls all broad leaf weeds such as: Dandelion, Thistle, Creeping Charlie, Clover and other unwanted weeds.  Our weed control method is the best in the industry so any issues with weeds will be addressed with one call to Warners. 

  1. Early Spring Fertilizer = Partial slow relase granular fertilizer is applied to take advantage of the Upper Mid-west’s wet springs.
  2. Late Spring Fertilizer/Crab Grass Pre-emergent = 100% slow release granular fertilizer is applied to continue the greening process as well as promoting thick, lush turf as well as create a barrier to prevent crab grass seeds from germinating.  This fertilizer is specially formulated to last up to 3 months which eliminates the possibility of burning the lawn in the heat of the summer with a fertilizer application.
  3. Late Spring Weed Control = Liquid weed control is applied to remove unwanted broadleaf weeds that compete with your turf for valuable nutrients.
  4. Mid Summer Fertilizer/Weed Control = Liquid weed control mixed with iron is applied to remove unwanted broadleaf weeds and iron to keep the dark lush green color throughout the summer.
  5. Late Summer Weed Control = Liquid weed control is applied to remove unwanted broadleaf weeds that have sprouted up through the stressful summer months.
  6. Early Fall Fertilizer = Partial slow release granular fertilizer is applied to take advantage of the cooler temperatures, thus providing the proper nutrients when conditions are most readily available.
  7. Late Fall Fertilizer = Partial slow release granular fertilizer promotes green turf and root growth for the upcoming spring.
 
The above 7-step program is called our "Gold Package," which is guaranteed for the best results.  We also offer a "Silver Package" (6 applications) and "Bronze Package" (5 applications) for all lawn care budgets.  Warners also does individual applications for those needing only a little help.
